Magical Moments

One of my favorite things about Spring is the color that the sun coats nature with.  It was especially evident this Spring when we were living on my parents farm.  I was so drawn to the way the sun came through the trees

To create this layout I chose vibrant colors that remind me of the brightness of Spring and the bright personality of my cheery daughter.  I die cut circles out of white cardstock to use as a backdrop for things that I wanted to pop out.  Then I fussy cut flowers out of the pattern paper and added glitter on them to use as an embellishment.

A butterfly, doily and some flowers were the last touch of Spring.  Hope you're day is full of Sunshine!

Printer's Tray with D-Lites!

Hey everyone!  I have an Artists Printer Tray to share with you today!  It's not a very good photo but you get the idea!  I'm just loving all the new Spellbinder's D-lites that were a recent mid-season release.  They are amazing!  I've used four of them on here and then I stamped the JustRite sentiment in a Timeless Rectangle.  Another fave!  The pattern paper is all KaiserCraft.  In the center I added a Bezel from the new Spellbinders Media Mixage line.  I was able to cut out the pattern paper with the Hearts Two die and then place it right into the Hearts Two Bezel.  Then I poured Ice Resin and had a beautiful piece to add! 

I can't wait to teach a very similar class to this in our Mixed Media weekend coming up at Memories and More. It's going to be so much fun!

Rejoice!

 Ever feel a little behind?  Ha!  Well, I've been wanting to do a post with this card since before Easter.  It's a good thing we are still rejoicing that our Savior has Risen!  I hold on to that truth all through out the year and thank God daily for the grace and mercy that He has had on me!

This card was published in the Spring issue of CardMaker magazine.  I used Spellbinder's dies and JustRite Stamps.  If you've been to the Spellbinder's site recently you might have noticed their new line of D-Lites that  just came out.  They are sooooo sweet!  I will be posting a project using those later in the week.

For my family and friends, I just wanted to post a quick shot of the kiddos on Easter day.  I can't believe that it's now been a year since we moved to Canada and how much they have grown up in that time.  I also can't believe how few photos of taken.  I think it's just a result of injuries and the thought of picking up a camera was not a fun one!  I need to get better with my phone camera I guess!
