JustRite Inspiration!

I have some more JustRite Stampers inspiration!  I'm so glad had a chance to be their Guest Designer for the last three day.  I hope you were able to hop on over to their blog to see the cards in full with more details and supply list.

I must say, JustRite has come out with some new releases that you must see!  Every time I turn around, there are more amazing stamps from this company that I just can't wait to get my hands on.  Thank you, JR, for having me as your guest!

That's it for today my blog friends!  I hope and pray that your day is full of inspiration all around you.

JustRite Guest Design Position!

Hi everyone! Today I am so excited to say that I have the honor of being JustRite Stampers guest designer and I had so much fun making this first card. I have a sneak peek for you here to today but you can find more info and the supply list on the JustRite blog.

Ever since working at Memories and More, I've been having fun playing with new stuff and thinking outside the box a bit more.  I was so inspired by this gorgeous frame from the JustRite stamp collection called  'Just Keep Calm,' and so I decided to stamp it and try some Stampendous Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel heat embossed on top.  It gave it quite an antique look...love it!  The sophisticated sentiment went perfect with one of my favorite line of papers right now!  It's GCDStudios Splendor.*swoon*

I will have the last card for my class posted in just a few days.  Be on the look out for my die template give-away in the final post.

Hope you are enjoying your spring.  It was hot, hot, hot here yesterday!  Finally starting to feel like we might have a warm summer.

Dreams

Hey everyone!  I wanted to share this shaped card I made with Spellbinders Labels Eight die template.  It's the third one I'll be doing in the upcoming class on April 26th.  Each of these are cards using Pink Paislee London Market line.  LOVE it!  I also used a Penny Black stamp for the sentiment.  I topped it off with a flower from Spellbinders called Aster Flower Topper.  I stenciled it with a glue pen and then added glitter.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Another Shaped Card!

Hello friend!  Here is the second shaped card that I will be teaching in the card class coming up at Memories and More.  I used Spellbinders Lacey Circles for the shape of it and then Standard Circles Sm die templates inside.  I rolled the Bitty Blossoms flower with cork paper and used the tag from NinaB Designs die template set called Home Sweet Home.  Of course, the pearls are from Want2Scrap!

Oh!  And speaking of NinaB Designs, you won't want to miss out on the fabulous hop going on.  Check it on Nina's blog!

I wish I could tell you that things are warming up here and it's starting to feel like spring but the cold breeze is still nipping away.  I have enjoyed the break from the rain though!

Hope you are having a fabulous weekend.  I will be sharing the next card for the class soon.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thinking of You

Hi there my blog friends!  I have been 'thinking of you' and I hope and pray that you all had a wonderful Easter Weekend!  We continue to celebrate daily the resurrection of Jesus and the grace and forgiveness offered to us through his death on the cross.  So, so very glad that I'm a forgiven person!

Settling in here has been a harder, longer process than I thought but I do have some projects to be sharing with you over the next few weeks!  I've been blessed to be working at a lss here called Memories and More.  I will be teaching a card class in a few weeks and I want to share with you the cards that I'll be doing.  The first one is this Thinking of You card.  The class will focus on how to create shape cards with your Spellbinders Die Templates.  And because it's been so long, I will be having a give-away after I have posted all the cards...next week some time.  It will be a Spellbinders Nestabilities set.  Wahoo!!

So, I have to post a few photos for those friends and family who are now far away.  These are completely unedited photos (as I don't seem to have any spare moments for such luxury! LOL) but you get the idea...we had fun celebrating and no person is too old for an Easter egg hunt! My brother did one for the kids and it was especially fun on the farm!

And yes, we dyed eggs...there is an artist within us all.  LOL

And someone is missing Oregon just a little.....

We also went for a fun adventure/hug through a creek and to the top of a mountain.

I'll be back soon to post another card.

Blessings on your day!

Miss You (terribly)

I don't know how it is possible for one person's life to have so many changes in a period of one week.  I know that the Lord will sustain me.  I almost feel like I'm walking in a blur but then I remember that poem 'Footprints.'  I think there was fog on that beach wasn't there?

Thank you to my blog readers for being so patient with me as I get settled in to my new life and new country.  I have a few things to post and then a fun announcement (because I can't seem to do a blog post without an announcement these days!)

First, I wanted to share a card just to express my heart.  I do feel like I am all the way across the world from my friends.  From those who I moved away from, I miss you terribly.  Terribly.  For those of you I haven't kept in good contact with because life has gotten crazy, busy...I miss you more than you can imagine.  For now, my focus has to be on getting my kids getting adjusted to their new surroundings and school.

And this card to wish a special someone Happy Birthday.  I used the new Spellbinders Square Swatch die templates to cut wood paper (that frames the button).  It's hard to tell from the photo but it turned out really neat looking.

~ Announcement Time! ~

GCD Studios has some very exciting news!  They have just launched their first ever issue of The Paper Cut Magazine!

You can find the entire issue on the GCD Studios blog.  They did a fabulous job with it; you are in for a treat.

Well my sweet friends, I hope that there is not so much time in between my next post.  I will say that as we enter in this Easter week, I pray that you are able to reflect on what this holiday season means to you.

Clingin' on to Jesus (for dear life,)
Julie
