OUTRAGEOUS Butterfly!

Good Tuesday morning!!  I don't know what's it like where you are at but here on the West Coast it's finally starting to feel a bit like Spring!  I think in about a day or so there will be no trace of snow.  Fine by me. : )

I'm excited to be able to blog about these projects I did for the new Spellbinders Catalog.  It might seem a bit crazy to be excited about a catalog but there are some major changes with it and it's just beautiful!  I had a few pieces of art in it and have been really anxious to blog about them.

The frame has a new Spellbinders butterfly die cut in called Outrageous Butterfly.  It is framed with a new Imperial Gold die called Architectural Accents.   Don't you love the sweet font for the sentiment on this card?  Its part of a great set from Fun Stampers Journey called Little Big Greetings.   The sentiment is stamped on one of my new favorites...Romantic Rectangles 2!  This one is such a gorgeous die.  You can find all these new ones on the Spellbinders website.  They will be available shortly.  I can't wait until they reach our store!

The cluster I created on both pieces are using Spellbinders Foliage die templates and Bitty Blossoms.  Two classics in my craft room!  The word Believe is also a die cut and it's from the set called Sentiments.

Time is flying by but there is still one part of CHA that I've been wanting to share about.  FaveCrafts put on a wonderful event for bloggers and it was so fantastic to attend.  We had a chance to move around the room networking with different companies in the industry.

This is my dear friend Kazan and I at the event right before it all started.  We had no idea what we were in for!  Not only did we get to meet up with some fantastic people, we were completely blessed with an enormous amount of product!  We were totally overwhelmed with gratitude.  FaveCrafts then went on to surprise us by announcing a contest they were holding.  If we went back and created something with the product we had a chance at winning a very generous amount of money.  Although I had intended on creating something for this, I ended up getting quite sick (again!) in the last two weeks and just couldn't get it done.  I know that in the future I will definitely use the products.

But for now, I am asking for your help!  My friend Kazan created a gorgeous canvas and incorporated a lot of the materials given to us.  I think she deserves to win.  It's a voting thing so you can go check out all the projects and see what you think.  And then vote for KAZAN CLARK's CANVAS (it's the one with the trendy pink Chevron's).  HERE is where you can vote:  FaveCraft's Contest.  You can only vote once and it end's March 11th.  Thank you blog friends!  You are fabulous!  My projects with some of the new release dies...posting shortly!
