I pray you all have a wonderful and safe New Year's as you reflect on the blessings of the last year and look with anticipation to this next year to come!
I have some exciting news. I very fun way for me to start of the 2010. I am GCDStudios GDT member and they are just about to announce the release of all their new lines. I can hardly wait! Here is a very fun flip calendar that I made with their Melody Ross Artsy Urban line.
For a few more pages and some other great inspiration, you can check out the GCDStudios Blog.
See the fun vintage blinky on my side bar? That's a sneak peek at one of their most anticipated lines...Homespun Chic. How fabulous is that?
Now that all my projects are done for CHA, I am starting to get butterflies about going. The count down has begun for me!! Of course, I can't share any of those projects but you can see my GCDStudios goodies on their blog throughout the month.
I have some super exciting news that I'm dying to share with you but I can't until Monday. Stay tunned. ; )
Have a safe and most excellent weekend my friends!

Merry Christmas!
I know it's been a bit since I blogged. We are trying more than ever to keep the focus where it should always be this Christmas. The kids performed in the Best Christmas Pageant Ever last Sunday at church. I was stunned at how well it turned out. They were all so precious and did such a great job.
I feel so blessed to have a wonderful family and so many friends. During this time of year, I think of all the God has done for us by sending his Son, Jesus. There is just so much to be grateful for. How awesome that we live in a free country where can celebrate it.
I don't have any crafty project to share today. I just wanted to wish all my blog readers a very Merry and blessed Christmas and New Year!! It would be like me to try and send a Christmas card out to everyone I knew but I just didn't have time to make quite that many!!
From our house to yours....much love and abundant blessings,

This weekend we watched our adorable five year old in the Nutcracker. Too much fun. I got some fabulous photos! This morning, I was volunteering in her classroom, making candy houses. More great photos! I'm just thinking of the possibilities with this paper! And right now...trying to finish up my Christmas cards. I think I might have picked the wrong year to try and do all handmade ones. Oh well! I'm nearing the finish line. Must get back to them though.

Spellbinders Snowflake Wreath

This is a wreath I made for Spellbinders back in October. It just may be the only snow flakes we see this year! Although it has warmed up here, it's still quite stormy it definitely feels like winter.
Here are a few step shots to show you how I created it. I didn't have an old wreath to work with so I cut a hollow circle out of strong cardboard. Then I created a background with blue circles that have a pearl border. The border was created with Spellbinders™ Classic Inverted Circles and Classic Scallop Circles. After that I layered and layered the snowflakes and adhered them to the wreath I had created.
Thanks for stopping by!

Webster's Pages - Dream Big
Supplies: Pattern Paper - Webster's Pages, Flowers - Prima, Stickers - American Crafts, Brad - Making Memories
Good morning!! Anyone wish they were sitting out on their deck on a warm sunny day! LOL Bbrrrrrr...it's cold! I have to be honest with ya though. As long as it's sunny and bright, I'll take the cold over the rain and wind any day! I'm actually totally loving it.
I'm normally a 12x12 gal so creating this layout was a bit of a stretch for me. It was based off a layout that my pal Dena Cole did on the Inspired Me website. I have to say,by the the time I finished working with it, I quite liked this size! Just wanted to share a quick page.
Hope you find time today to sip some hot chocolate or sit in front of a warm fire with someone ya love. There's nothin' quite like it!

**Blink!!** It's December 1st. Wow! We had a fabulous Thanksgiving and I hope you did too! If you didn't get a chance to enter your name in for the Thanksgiving RAK I have going, there's still time. You can read about it here.
I have some exciting news! I was asked to return back for another year on the Collage Press Design Team! I can't even tell you how thrilled I was to find out about this opportunity. Over the last few days I've been waiting to share a layout that I made of a really good friend of mine holding my youngest daughter at our Christmas party last year. Just a few more days and then I can post it!
Designing with Joyride has been so much fun that I just couldn't help make a few cards while I was at. Have you seen this line yet? Oh my! This brown and check piece just makes me think of a warm kitchen on a cold winter's day! And the chipboard is fantastic. It is seriously the best quality and the cutest ever! It's really think and has excellent adhesive on the back.
Supplies: Collage Press - Joyride (Pattern Paper, diecuts, chipboard, stickers)Pink Paislee - alphabet stickers, Flower Soft - Polar White
I've always, always had a lot of fun while creating my Collage Press projects. That's super important to me and that's why it wasn't a difficult decision to stay on the team. Soon, I'll be able to share the layout I put together. But, for now, some card inspiration! And, if cards are your thing, you must check out the Collage Press blog for these amazing ones that Roree Rumph put together. This girl knows how to rock the cards!!
As matter of fact, the new design team has been coming up with some really fantastic projects. There has been some names drawn out of the comments already but it's not too late! If you are a Collage Press lover and would like to win some product of your own, just leave a comment on the company blog.
