Give Away Time!!

I’m back from CHA.  What a trip!  The best one yet for me.  We had such a great time in the Spellbinder’s booth and getting to know everyone so much better!  We even had the opportunity to see some of the show.  Unfortunately, I accidently left my camera on before I left and I had a dead battery by the time I got there!

My good friend Kazan, who I was blessed to room with while at the show, sent me this picture of the two of us.  I’m sorry I don’t have any booth shots.  I know that that Spellbinders has some up on their blog and on their facebook page and Kazan has some great ones on her blog  as well.  I did get to see some amazing art work and fantastic new product while I was there!  It’s no secret that other than Spellbinders, some of my fave’s were Pink Paislee, Webster’s Pages, Maya Road and Crate Paper.  Yum!

When I first got my new die templates several months back, I wanted to come up with a quick way to store some of the new ones.  I put this book together but then didn’t get a chance to share it.  I wanted to explain how I did it.  First, I cut down magnetic vent covers.  Second, I cut a two pieces of cardboard the same size for the front and back cover.  I added paper and altered the cover with a quick, simple design.  I stamped a Victorian Frame stamp from Layers of Color and then cut it out with Spellbinders Labels Fourteen die template.

After that, I punched holes with my Zutter and used Bind it All wire to bring it all together.

I hope this is is a helpful tip for you ins storing your die templates!

While at CHA, I wasn’t able to take a bunch of fun photos to share but I did still want to share a RAK with my blog readers who have been ever so patient with me!

blog candy

In this photo is the latest issue of Paper Creations which I have a card featured.  When I arrived home, I ended up with my box of two copies and my card!  So, I want to give away this extra one, along with a current issue of Paper Crafts Magazine.   Also in the picture is some Queen and Co. pearls and a tissue flower.  We created these tissue flower pins as a make and take in the Spellbinder’s booth.  They are so fun to make!  Last but not least is a fabulous new black Spellbinder’s t shirt!!

Leave a comment on this post if you are interested in this RAK and I will leave it open until next Friday, midnight PST.

I am glad you had a good time at CHA. I just bought my second set of Spellbinder dies yesterday and have a couple more sets on my wishlist. I have been playing with new ones for a Valentine card tonight. Your storage idea couldn't have come at a better time. Thanks so much for the great idea.

Thank you, also, for the chance to win your blog candy. Congratulations on your card being in the magazine!

Great idea..I use these but not so neatly in a pretty organizer. Mights just do this for a friend who just started using Spellbinders. I cannot imagine life without them. Thanks for sharing.
CHA looks so fun. Thanks for the chance to win. I enjoy these 2 magazines, when I can get my hands on them.

What a bummer about your camera. I am sure you were too busy having fun at CHA to take photos anyway! I'd love to win your very generous RAK! Thanks for the opportunity!

I LOVE your Book of Dies! Very creative. Don't you love how old crafts come back around, like the cute tissue paper flowers. I remember making them to decorate our May pole in 8th grade;)

What a shame you did not have your camera working, I'm sure you'll treasure the moments. It sounds like you had a really amazing time.

I so appreciate you sharing your magnet book with us. I can' believe how many dies you have in there! This is definitely one project I will have to make soon. I simply love your blog and really enjoy seeing what amazing things you make with the Grand Callibur and the Grand dies.

Because of you wonderful creations I have to honestly say I went out and bought the Grand Callibur and tonight I ordered the Grand Labels 4.. Now I'm just anxiously waiting for them to arrive. I think the first thing I'll make is the beautiful Labels 4 book you made..

I totally love your blog,
Hugs Angie xx
