‘Fabulous Birthday’ Card

photo 1

Good morning blog friends!  Yesterday was my first day at designing and writing for the Spellbinders™ blog!  Spellbinders is a company that creates die templates which can be used to cut/emboss/ and stencil.  The name stands for ‘Spelling’ out stories and ‘binding’ them together in books as we create our scrapbook pages and preserve special stories and memories.  Having been brought on as a ‘Spellblogger’ means that I have the priviledge of designing art while ‘spelling’ out tips and techniques of how I created the project.

I feel so blessed to be able to bring you tutorials while playing with beautiful die templates on weekly basis.  I had someone ask about the Post It paper.  This is the project I used with that and you can read about the technique on the Spellbinder’s Blog that went up yesterday.

I have subbing the last week and a half for a friend of mine who just lost her Mother.  That’s one reason it’s been so quite on this blog!  After creating this card for Spellbinders, I loved the technique and the products I used so much that I created a sympathy card for her for my friend while all my stuff was out.  Tomorrow I will share it with you!

Hope your week has been been blessed.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi Lora,

The Post It Paper is craft paper by the company Post It. I will try to link it here. It's also linked in my supply list. If you click on 'Post It,' you will get to their home page.

Hope this helps!

Julie I have finally found your blog. I had been looking for you. I really liked the card that Spellbinders shared in the newsletter.
What town do you live in on the coast? I live about 45 miles inland from Florence.

What is the White post it paper you used for the card that your referred to using for the glitter?
Thanks Lora

Oh Julie I just now found your previous post.

Is this post it paper any heavier than white label paper? Is it stickier than the white label paper?
