NinaB Designs Blog Hop!!

Welcome to another NinaB Designs blog hop!

The NBD team has something exciting for you today!   Nina has challenged us to create something that uses the NinaB Designs Spellbinders die cuts from non-paper products on their projects. Did you know that Spellbinders dies can cut all kinds of material? Kim Hupke, the Educational Director of Spellbinders Paper Arts did a video showing all types of products you can cut with the dies that you can find HERE.

For my project today, I cut thesweet little hearts out of 100% wool using NinaB Designs' Home Sweet Home dies.  I also cut the Classic Oval die template from wool.

For this card I used LilyBee Designs Buttercup 6x6 pattern paper pad with Spellbinders S4-342 Square Swatches.  After inking them with Ranger Frayed Burlap Distress Ink, I adhered them on to my card base and sewed them down.

Next, I cut out a Spellbinders S4-110 Classic Oval Lg from 100% wool felt.  I also cut out the tiny hearts from the same felt.  Even though these dies are tiny, they cut through the wool beautifully!  After adding a bit of stitching to the wool, I adhered it to the card.

Using Nina B Designs' Sewing Elements set, I cut the sewing machine from Bazzill Bone cardstock and inked it with Frayed Burlap ink.  I used foam squares to adhere it to the oval.  I stamped the sentiment using The Crafter's Meow stamp set called Sew Lovely.  I cut around it to create a banner an inked the edges.  After adhering it to the card, I added the felt buttons and trim.

Here are the dies I used:
