Stamps and Stains!

Good Monday morning to you!  Hope you've had a spectacular weekend!  We had some nice weather here and the girls jumped in the pool for the first time even though it was FREEZING cold!

Here is one of the cards I did for the class I taught on Thursday.  I used Tim Holtz stains on the Penny Black rubber stamp to create the flowers.  Then I cut it out with Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Five and inked the edges.  I stamped a JustRite Stampers sentiment on cardstock and cut it out with a Spellbinders Ribbon Banner.   It's the first time working with Ranger Stains.  It was a lot of fun creating!  Each card had some kind of new technique.  I'll be posting the others soon.

Blessings on your day!

I really like your ideas for this card. It is clean and simple, yet it still has lots of impact, without being 'cutesy'. Love the subdued colors with the pop of the red. Thank you.

Hi there, Julie! I'm not familiar with how the Tim Holtz stains work, but wow, how beautiful the flowers are. They look water-colored. Love the colors you used and love the Spellbinders label cut. The wavy banner is really pretty, too.
Gorgeous card! So would have loved to have sat in on your class. :)
