Treat Basket

Spellbinders™:  S4-168 Large Labels; S4-242 Big Scalloped Borderabilities Petite; S7-014 Classic Lace Border Grand; LF-190 Grand Labels Four; My Mind's Eye (Green Houndstooth, Pink Floral Lush,) Melissa Francis – Pattern Paper; Clearsnap  -Colorbox Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk Ink; Creative Impressions, White Bits of Bling Pearls;

Goodmorning!  I am working on my last project before CHA.  Wish I could show you.  They will be at the Spellbinders booth so stop by if you get a chance!

Spring is around the corner and Easter will be here in the blink of an eye!  So, I thought I’d share with you this little treat basket I made a while back.  Although it looks very springy, you could create a similar project for Valentine’s day.  Cutting out a Grand Labels Four die template (#6, #1 being the smallest,)  I was able to score two lines in the middle about an inch apart and fold it up to create this cute basket!  I added S4-168 Large Labels to the side to finish off the ends.

We’ve had some fabulous sunshine here!  Oh, it’s been sooooo wonderful!!  Here’s hoping for a warm February!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Blessings on your day!

Wonderful Winter Memories

I promised a few photos of our Christmas and trip to Canada.  Not sure when we’ll get a chance to do that again.  It sure was special!

There wasn’t a lot of snow in town (above photos) although the hills were steep!  So, we went way up in the mountains.  It was so much fun!

Hiking the long hill to the top.  Thank goodness for strong brothers who are so willing to entertain nieces and nephews.  *inserting very big grin*

Right about here, my battery died so I didn’t get any fabulous shots of their very cool run that they made!  When will I ever learn??

IMG_4335_thumb[3]

We had a nice warm cabin near by so we could sip hot chocolate and get ready for another round!

Special thanks to Mom and Dad for hosting special memories in their home; like this one with Grandma Great!

View from parents back yard.  The lake wasn’t frozen over but we did go ice skating inside!  I don’t have those photos yet.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing in our adventure!

Spellbinders Labels Twenty Frame Card

JB

JBzm

Now that some of the new die templates have been revealed, I can share some of the things of created. And just wait until CHA rolls around in another two weeks. There are many more to drool over! LOL I created a frame on this card using the Spellbinders S5-026 Labels Twenty and cutting out a S5-023 Mega Ovals LG (#2.) I then added glitter to the edges and adhered a cream background. I also created my own flower embellishment using the S5-050 Rose Creations. I can’t even tell you how many things I’ve used this new die template for. I LOVE it! The sentiment stamp I used is from Gina K Designs.

I hope you all enjoyed the Spellbinders blog frenzy. I just wanted to say how very much I really, really appreciate every one of the comments you left.

Hope you've been inspired!

Speaking of blog frenzy…have you seen the amazing projects that have been posted so far???  The best part about it is not having to keep the cool new die templates a secret any longer!!  Well, some of them at least!  You can click here to find out which designers had todays reveal for the Spellbinders Paper Arts To Die For!! Winter Release Frenzy.  Trust me, you’ll be glad you did!!  Anybody have any new favorites yet?  How about any other sneak peak favorites??  I want to know what you think!

Happy Birthday Stacey!

hbday

It’s a really big day with lots of excitement!  First off, I wanted to say Happy Birthday to Stacey Caron, owner of Spellbinders™ Paper Arts.  A few of us designers made a card for her and you can find the rest listed on the Spellbinders Blog.  Stacey is one of the sweetest, hardworking, dedicated, sincere and fun people I know.  It’s been such an honor to stand behind her and her husband Jeff as they continue to grow their company in leaps and bounds.  Thank you Stacey for so much you have given to me over the last few years.  I will never forget showing up at CHA as sick as could be and being blown away by your ‘over the top’ support and kindness.   You’re the best!

But wait…there’s more!  Later today on the Spellbinders blog, you will also find some very exciting news!!  The top 40 finalists are being announced today!  Good luck to all those who applied.

Supplies

Die Templates – S4-242 Big Scalloped Borderabilities® Petite, S3-146 Butterflies Two, S4-114 Standard Circles LG; Pattern Paper – SEI; Cardstock – Worldwin'; Stamp – Gina K Designs; Pearls – Kaiser Crafts

Only a few days left until the blog frenzy and you’ll start some sneaks of these amazing new sets.  I love this time of year, right before CHA.  It’s so exciting to see what’s right around the corner for so many different manufactures.  I will be on the look out for sure.

Have a spectacular day and thanks so much for stopping by!
