Double Digits

My first born turned 10 this weekend. I think I'm still in denial. But look at this photo? He looks like a mini 'man!' LOL Overby and he is so happy. That was one packed day. We participated in the 2 mile run and then watched the parade. After collecting a boat load of candy, we took some friends out to celebrate with his birthday.

What a memorable day. My sweet lil' 7 year old ran the 2 mile run as well. I could hardly keep up with her!

I can't believe how much has happened in the last few weeks. There has been a lot of activity around here!! These are the place cards that we made to go with our welcome kit at the ladies retreat last weekend.

It was an amazing time and God really did some fantastic things in the lives of many of the women who came. I sure believe that He is up to something big, and I for one, want to be ready!

I also had the opportunity to have a lil' photo shoot of Lucy. Okay....it wasn't so little. You don't even want to know how many shots I took. I LOVE digital!! There were quite a few that turned out and here is just one!

We also put on a shower for Jodi. I giggled watching her surrounded with wrapping paper and adorable outfits. I'm sure she was blessed. Here is a diaper cake that I made for her. So fun. I absolutely love that there was no messy frosting to deal with! LOL!

I've been working a lot more than normal lately. And with a busy schedule, I've been trying to spend any free time with my family. I haven't been on the board much and I've been a bit of a bad blogger but something has to budge. I have a bazzillion more things to share but it will have to wait until another day. I need to hit the hay!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sounds like you have a lot going on, Julie!
My firstborn turns 10 on Saturday and I'm definitely in denial!! His party is tomorrow, because on Saturday, we're testing for our green stripes for tae kwon do.
Take care,
Leigh
