Justrite Stampers

zoom 4

The Justrite blog hop is just around the corner!  I decided to try out my new stamp set and have fun with some embossing.  It’s my design day at on the Clip It Up blog and that’s where you can read the instructions on how to make this card.   I was actually able to use my Clip it Up to store a bunch of my Justrite stamps.  It was nice to have them all together, hanging in one place!

Love card

Supplies:
Die Template - Spellbinders™ (Labels Three) Stamps – Justrite (Decorative Frame Set, Loving Thoughts Set) Glimmer Mist (Tattered Angles – Coffee) Embossing Power – (Sparkle n’ Sprinkle) Cardstock – Papertrey Ink Pattern Paper – Hambly Studios Screen Print – Hambly Studios  Trim – Prima Marketing
Pearls – Reflections

I have to tell you, my five year old never ceases to amaze me.  I was making a quick birthday card for a friend of mine.  Birthday cards are NOT my favorite to make.  I think I finally realized yesterday it’s because out of all the massive sets of stamps that I have, I don’t seem to have any great birthday stamps.  I was pleased to find this cute cake stamp (Justrite) but I didn’t have the right size/shape sentiment that said Happy Birthday.

Well, as the story goes, my sweet lil’ 5 year old wanted to make a card too.  She wanted to use this sparkly paper (not my fave either.)  But, this was about us doing a few projects together.  She came up with the cutest design.  But then she looked over at mine and said… ‘I want to color mine like yours’ and then…. ‘I want to put a bow on too…ect.’  It was so cute that she wanted to do everthing like mine.  Then she asked if she could take a photo and put it up on my blog!  LOL  Too precious!!  She even wanted to the photo herself.  So, I bit my tongue and watch her annihilate my ever so precious Copic markers, I just kept reminding myself that Copics won’t pick up other colors and it will all just be okay.  So there you have it….a lesson in sharing.  And look at this adorable card that she came up with!  (yes…she used my Spellbinders™ die templates and machine too!)

Now we are busy with finger paints….yikes!!  LOL

One more piece of exciting news!!  You I love our puppy….(is he really a puppy?  man he is sooooo big!!) Max.  Gotta love him.  BUT, big dogs (even puppies) have a LOT of energy.  LOTS!  Can I tell you how much my life has changed in the last few days since my darling husband put up a fence in our back yard!!  Oh my!!  It is ugly and it is temporary but it is HEAVEN!!  Max is running out there like a crazy dog right now having a party of his own!

For those of you new to my blog, let me introduce you.IMG_3344-1

I know.  Isn’t he the cutest thing ever?  Ya. But he is like….THREE times as big as he is in this picture and still only six months old!

I luv ya Max.
